3、Mechanism and clinical use:
Erlotinib Hydrochloride is a small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It can selectively act on tyrosine kinase epidermal growth factor receptor subtype (EGFR-TK), inhibit phosphorylation of EGFR-TK, block signal transduction of tumour cell, so as to inhibit growth of tumour cells and induce their apoptosis. 
It is mainly used for treatment of topical advances or metastatic nonsmall-cell lung cancer, when at least one chemotherapy regimen failed.
